Apple yesterday announced the launch of their new product range which included the iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. The launch took place at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California. We take a look at the main features of Apple’s new smartphones.
iPhone 8 range
Coming with an all-new glass design and wireless charging the iPhone 8 range will be available to pre-order on September 15th, with the release date being September 22nd. The iPhone 8 range is available in two screen sizes, 4.7-inch (iPhone 8) and 5.5-inch (iPhone 8 Plus), both models will feature Retina HD displays.
The iPhone 8 will retail from £699 for the 64GB version, with the 256GB model retailing from £849. The iPhone 8 Plus 64GB will retail slightly higher from £799, currently, the price for the 256GB model is unknown.
The new glass design will feature the most durable glass ever seen in an iPhone and it will also be water and dust resistant. The smartphone will be available in space grey, silver and gold.

The iPhone X (Ten) will be available to pre-order from October 27th, with shipping expected on November 3rd, so you’ll have to wait a bit longer to get your hands on the smartphone. The phone will retail at £999 for the 64GB version and £1,149 for the 256GB model.
Face ID is one of the main features on the iPhone X, there is no longer a home button prevalent on the phone meaning no Touch ID. Your face will now be your password and Face ID is said to be more secure than Touch ID – Face ID will also work with Apple Pay.
The entire front of the iPhone X is the display, the 5.8-inch Super Retina OLED screen covers the whole front of the iPhone X. Like the iPhone 8 range, the iPhone X features the most durable glass ever in an iPhone and is also water and dust resistant.
The smartphone also boasts wireless charging Although the screen is bigger than the iPhone Plus range, the actual phone is smaller and lighter. The iPhone X will be available in space grey and silver.
